As you know I've had a love/hate relationship with my Ishbel. I have resigned myself to only working on it during the weekends when I am refreshed. This has made for slow going on it, however I'm able to take the time I need to read the charts and knit like I'm supposed to. I'm refusing to have to frog this project a 4th time!!
Here is what it currently looks like:
I've completed 3 of the sections and I'm quite proud of it! I'm ready to insert another life line on this next row. I'm also at the point where I can made a decision to have a larger lace section or keep the smaller section. I'm going to think about it for a few days. It would mean a bigger shawl, however more lace knitting but I have plenty of yarn. Hmmm, decisions, decisions.
Here is a closeup of the lace section:
Since work has been so stressful lately, and I like to knit during the week not just weekends, I've cast on for another mindless knit to unwind at night.
Pattern: Just Enough Ruffles Scarf.
Yarn: Universal Yarn Cotton Supreme
Colorway: Dusty Rose
Purchased at: The Loopy Ewe
Needles: US 9, 36" circulars
This yarn is a joy to work with. It is so smooth in your hands and on my Harmony needles the knitting is flying along.
Hope you are outside enjoying this fine weather weekend we are having in New England!
